Who can apply?

These Master's degrees are not only for students who have previously studied IT.

Applicants can come from a range of relevant academic and professional backgrounds, including areas such as marketing, finance, management, operations, information systems and technology. NZSE accepts relevant Bachelor's and postgraduate qualifications and can also consider a combination of academic qualifications and relevant professional experience, subject to its entry assessment.

This means someone who already understands an industry or business function may be able to add data, AI and analytical capabilities to the experience they already have.
